Our Every Touch Makes Our Dog Happy

Every touch from us makes our dog happy

From the first day our dog came home, he let us see clearly how much he needs us and how much he loves us. His love was unconditional from the first day he came into our lives and he has always appreciated any small gesture of love that we have had towards him, no matter how small.

Your dog has turned coexistence into a petting game that cannot be ignored because he will claim them himself. He will never allow you to leave home giving a kiss to your partner or your children without giving him his caress. He will stare at you with a sad face, like that cat from the movie Shreck, do you remember? Who can resist that look?

Although it is also true that there are times when your dog is independent and no matter how hard you look for it, it will not pay any attention to you. How do you know when your dog is receptive?

The great discontent of many people towards cats is that they are very independent, but there are times when dogs are too. Many times they go alone to a room or under his chair or his favorite sofa and no matter how much you call him because you want to give him a caress, he does not pay any attention.

And the thing is, dogs love to be caressed but sometimes they need their space. So they decide when, where and who. But when they want our caresses, there will be no one to stop them, they will look for us without stopping until they get what they want.

How he looks for your caress

There are many ways to know how and when your dog wants a pet from you. And it all starts from the beginning of the day. When you get up, well better said, when your alarm clock goes off, your dog hears it before you do and goes like a madman out of control to jump on your bed and stick his tongue in your mouth, in your nose, in your ears! Your first reaction is a bit of anger thinking: “How disgusting!” You take it and tell it to be still.

But there it is, again that cat look at Shreck and you can’t help but smile and start stroking him as he twists and turns like a croquette upside down and starts walking on all four legs on the bed as he approaches. you. We all like to receive affection, but we love to give it to people (or animals) who know how to appreciate it.

When you decide it’s time to get up, the chase begins. Your dog follows you wherever you go as if wondering, who told you this is over? He’s not hungry, he just wants one more touch, or two or a few hundred more.

But you don’t have time anymore, you have to go to work. You put food on him, you take him out quickly to do his little things, (don’t complain, you caressed him again in the elevator) and after taking one last look in the mirror you go to the door. You go out and close it behind you when… no, you can’t leave without giving it its last touch. You hear him cry, that makes you feel like a bad person.

You open the door again and he goes as crazy as if he hasn’t seen you for 5 hours. You give him one last caress and you assure him that you will be back soon. This time you don’t cry when you close the door; your caress was missing.

Coming home from work… well you know, total hysteria followed by the chase. Until you eat and eat. So when you sit on the couch, there he is. Next to your leg pushing and pushing claiming your caresses. But as the afternoon progresses, his moment of independence arrives. That moment to which you are oblivious because you are immersed in your work, until you realize that you have not seen it for a long time.

You call him and you call him again and he does not come, he does not appear. Have you left the door open? You start looking until you see him there, hiding as if fleeing from your caresses, although that escape does not last long. Soon he returns to your arms.

And it cannot be avoided, no matter if it is in the morning, afternoon or night, your dog will not be able to live without a caress from you. Every time your dog feels a caress from you, he is happy, and happiness is needed to live.
